PURPOSE: To report a reactivation of ocular toxoplasmosis after LASIK.
METHODS: Case report of a 34-year-old man who underwent bilateral LASIK. The posterior segment examination revealed an old toxoplasmosis scar in the retinal periphery of the right eye.
RESULTS: Uncorrected visual acuity improved postoperatively, and the patient was satisfied. However, 52 days after the procedure, he complained of loss of visual acuity in his right eye. BACKGROUND: Behçet's syndrome is a chronic relapsing vasculitis characterized by aphthous stomatitis, genital ulcerations, and uveitis. The disease is a multisystem illness, which may involve the skin, joints, gastrointestinal tract, blood vessels, central nervous system, and other organs.

Behçet's disease (BD) is a multisystem disorder characterized by recurrent oral and genital ulcerations with uveitis.
