Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is one of the serious complications of diabetes that has limited treatment options. As a lytic inflammatory cell death, pyroptosis plays an important role in the pathogenesis of DN. Syringaresinol (SYR) possesses anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
