Primary female reproductive neoplasms in Platyrrhines species are few reported. We present the gross, histological, and immunohistochemical findings of metastatic endometrioid carcinoma in the uterus, urinary bladder, jejunum, and rectum of a Leontopithecus sp. The neoplastic endometrial cells expressed strong cytoplasmic immunolabeling of cytokeratin 7.

We report on persistent müllerian duct structures (vagina, uterus, fallopian tubes) in a phenotypically normal white, infertile man with bilateral cryptorchidism. The presence of müllerian structures has been shown during a laparotomy performed because of an accident. The clinical and radio-sonographic findings are presented.

Maternal sepsis is an unusual but catastrophic complication of amniocentesis. We report a case of successful treatment of maternal septic shock and multiple organ failure following amniocentesis at midgestation, possibly due to needle puncture of the sigmoid colon, which was tightly adherent to the anterior surface of the pregnant uterus.

Genitourinary rhabdomyosarcoma in females usually originates in the vagina or uterus, but rarely the vulva. The authors present a case of rhabdomyosarcoma originating in the clitoris. A 4-year-old with an alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma of the clitoris was treated with radical clitorectomy, radiation, and chemotherapy. Follow-up at 3 years showed no active disease.

Hindgut duplication including the colon and rectum as well as the genital and urinary organs are extremely rare. Only a few cases are noted in the medical literature. In this report, a newborn with exstrophy of the urinary bladder, double vagina and uterus, double anus, and complete duplication of rectum and colon with malrotation is presented.

Two fetuses are described in whom deformation was caused by uterine malformation (bicornuate uterus). It is necessary to distinguish between fetal malformation and deformation, since the latter type of anomaly indicates that the uterine environment is distorted. Correction of this uterine malformation can significantly improve the prospects for future pregnancies.
