The chronic hepatitis C-autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) overlap syndrome has been described in the literature, but to date appropriate therapy remains controversial. We report on a 28-year-old woman with hepatitis C-AIH overlap syndrome. This study includes 80 patients (38 children and 42 adults) who contracted aseptic meningitis in the summer of 1996 in Fribourg, Switzerland.
