In this study, we investigated the effect of a water extract of the ripe fruits of Rubus coreanus Miq. (Rosaceae) (RFRC) on mast cell-mediated allergic inflammation and studied the possible mechanism of action. Immunocytochemical localization of protein kinase C (PKC) in rabbit ciliary processes was investigated using anti-PKC monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) against rabbit Types 1, 2, and 3 PKC.
