Crich ligation is a new method for the functionalization of peptides and proteins under mild conditions. To more fully understand the mechanism of the ligation and to explore the effect of substitution on its efficiency, a systematic theoretical study is carried out for the first time. An interlaboratory study was conducted to compare pesticide recovery from Empore C(18) and Speedisks C(18)XF solid phase extraction disks after shipping. Four pesticides were used for the comparison of the two disk extraction materials: atrazine, diazinon, metolachlor, and tebuconazole.
