In the therapy for early gastric cancer, Endoscopic diagnosis is essential. When early gastric cancer is diagnosed within certain range, it is possible to be cured without surgery only endoscopic therapy. Indication for now endoscopic therapy is limited lesion which is well differentiated adenocarcinoma not more than 2 cm in size with mucosal infiltration but no ulceration. In the endoscopic therapy, it is important to detect serial multiple occurrence of early gastric cancer and recurrence of residual cancerous lesion. For these problems, annual endoscopic examination is needed.

Inflammatory fibroid polyps (IPF), also called Vanek tumors, are rare, benign lesions of mesenchymal origin. They can affect both sexes with a majority incidence between 50-70 years. We present the case of a 53-year-old woman with an outpatient clinic due to severe iron deficiency anemia, gastroscopy and colonoscopy without relevant findings. A study with capsule endoscopy identify an ulcerated polypoid mass, which caused a slight stenosis of the lumen, allowing the passage of the capsule endoscopy compatible with Vanek's tumor.

We describe a 50-year-old Japanese woman with rheumatoid arthritis who presented with near-complete gastric outlet obstruction. The patient also suffered from secondary gastrointestinal and cardiac amyloidosis. Gastroscopy revealed multiple huge gastric antral ulcers in which amyloid deposits were identified on histologic examination. The ulcers became scars after treatment with omeprazole, which cause in severe pyloric stenosis. Endoscopic hydrostatic balloon dilation under fluoroscopic guidance was performed twice for 10 min. The pyloric outlet remained sufficiently patent 22 months later.
