OBJECTIVE: To examine reliability and validity of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) QLQ-OV28 questionnaire into the Turkish language according to the instructions provided by EORTC.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: Ninety-seven patients who were diagnosed as having ovarian cancer and treated between January 2005 and June 2010 with an expected survival time of at least 3 months, were enrolled into the study. To evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerance of the GnRH-analogue Buserelin in the treatment of endometriosis, we started a non-comparative study of 52 patients with various stages of endometriosis. The dosage of 900 mcg/d was administered 3 times daily intranasally for 6 months. The degree of the disease was evaluated before and at the end of treatment by pelviscopy and biopsy.
