Fibronectin (FN), a glycoprotein present in plasma and the extracellular matrix, has been reported to be effective on corneal trophic ulcer. This study reported a rapid method for preparing purified FN eyedrops from a patient's own plasma. Enzyme immobilization is generally used to improve enzyme stability and reusability for industrial applications. In this study, a novel non-covalent immobilization strategy was developed using the SH3-like domains of alternansucrase from Leuconostoc citreum ABK-1 (LcAlts). Assessment of autoreactive antibodies in response to healthy human serum IgA and IgG was performed by indirect haemagglutination assay on serum samples from 81 amoebic liver abscess cases for IgA and 70 for IgG.
