This case report describes a cervical fusion cage, surgical technique and the long-term outcome of caudal cervical arthrodesis used to stabilise dynamic spinal cord compression at the sixth and seventh cervical intervertebral disc space (C6, C7) in a dog. PURPOSE: Evaluation of visual acuity and anatomic outcome in Latino patients undergoing vitrectomy for proliferative diabetic retinopathy, using silicone oil or gas tamponade.
METHODS: Retrospective review of 57 vitrectomies, 42 in Latino patients, performed by a single surgeon over a 3-year period.

PURPOSE: To describe the optical coherence tomography (OCT) findings for patients with a history of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP).
METHO … ervation of multiple inner retinal layers within the fovea was seen in 14 eyes (70%). Vitreomacular traction or subretinal fluid was not seen in any eye.
CONCLUSIONS: Anomalies in foveal anatomy by OCT may be a vestige of prematurity, appear to be independent of prior retinopexy, and can still be associated with excellent visual acuity.

CONCLUSION: Late recurrent retinal detachments are rare and vitreous base traction seems to be an important factor, although the associated PVR was probably a secondary factor. Treatment depends on PVR, with vitreoretinal surgery necessary in some cases. They usually have a good prognosis.

METHODS: This study involved 78 eyes of 58 patients with diabetic CME. The patients underwent complete ophthalmic examination, fluorescein angiography and optical coherence tomography (OCT). Twenty cases of pylon fractures were treated with IIizarov circular external fixators using the technique of ligamentotaxis.
