The present chapter describes the most important available experimental and clinical evidence on the role of electrical stimulation of the cerebellum or the thalamus in the control of epilepsy. Cerebellum serves as an integrator of sensory information and regulator of motor coordinating and training. The purpose of this study is to develop injury risk functions that predict zygoma fracture based on baseball type and impact velocity. Zygoma fracture strength data from published experiments were mapped with the force exerted by a baseball on the orbit as a function of ball velocity. Using a normal distribution, zygoma fracture risk functions were developed. Experimental results of in vivo measurements to characterize the mechanical behaviour of human uterine cervices are documented. We isolated Cryptosporidium parvum-type oocysts from naturally infected siberian chipmunks which originated in the People's Republic of China and examined the infectivity to rodents as experimental animals.
