The purpose of this study was to determine the genetic characterization of ciprofloxacin resistant- Escherichia coli recovered from 7 different integrated broiler operations in Korea. Among the 157 E. coli isolated from chicken meat produced by integrated broiler operations, 75 (47.8%) were observed to be ciprofloxacin resistant-E. coli.
