This commentary examines 12 first-person narratives of sharing health information on social media. Online storytelling simultaneously offers vital support and imposes concerning pressures. The authors describe how digital platforms mitigate isolation by fostering community, solidarity, and practical "community-driven knowledge," particularly around stigmatized conditions, disability, and reproductive health.
