OBJECTIVE: One-third of patients with severe rheumatoid arthritis (RA) do not achieve remission or low disease activity, or they have side effects from cDMARD and bDMARD. They will need a new treatment option such as the small molecule JAK inhibitors. In this systematic review, we evaluate the efficacy and safety data of the current jakinibs: tofacitinib, peficitinib, decernotinib, upadacitinib, baricitinib and filgotinib in patients in whom treatment with conventional or biological disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (cDMARD and/or bDMARD) failed.

We herein report the case of a 73-year-old male patient who was diagnosed with leukemic non-nodal MCL. This patient had received six cycles of bendamustine, which resulted in a transient remission, and a second-line therapy with ibrutinib, which unfortunately failed to induce remission. The endocannabinoid system in the brain and periphery plays a major role in controlling food intake and energy balance. We reported that tasting dietary fats was met with increased levels of the endocannabinoids, 2-arachidonoyl-sn-glycerol (2-AG) and anandamide, in the rat upper small intestine, and pharmacological inhibition of this local signaling event dose-dependently blocked sham feeding of fats.
