The case of a neonate with a large vertex cephalocele is presented. The anatomical features of this anomaly were evaluated by means of magnetic resonance imaging and magnetic resonance angiography. Cystinosis is an autosomal recessive metabolic disease in which the amino acid cystine accumulates in lysosomes due to a defect in lysosomal cystine transport. Cystinosis in infancy is associated with poor growth, muscle wastage, and death at about age 10 due to kidney failure. The cervix is a barrier for transferring porcine embryos non-surgically. A non-surgical embryo transfer instrument composed of four parts has been developed that allows the delivery of embryos into the lumen of one uterine horn.
