INTRODUCTION: To evaluate whether epidural analgesia is an independent risk factor for OASIS.
METHODS: A population-based cohort study including all women who delivered by spontaneous vaginal delivery or by instrumental delivery beyond 24 weeks gestation was conducted. Deliveries occurred between 1988 and 2016 at a large university tertiary medical center. Women with multiple gestations and those lacking prenatal care were excluded from the analysis.

During a routine whole body counting measurement of a worker at the Nuclear Research Center Negev, abnormal activities of (232)Th and (238)U were measured. After a thorough investigation, it was found that the radioactivity was due to a rubber bracelet ('balance bracelet') worn by the worker during the measurement. OBJECTIVE: Exertional leg pain is a characteristic musculoskeletal manifestation of familial Mediterranean fever (FMF). We aimed to define the frequency and characteristics of exertional leg pain in a large cohort of FMF patients and to evaluate for additional signs and symptoms of spondyloarthritis (SpA) in this patient population.
