INTRODUCTION: Facial gunshot wounds have devastating functional and aesthetic consequences for the patient. If associated with penetrating craniocerebral injuries, the prognosis is rather compromised even with appropriate medical and surgical treatment. A 30-year-old male presented with accidental injury with an arrow which referred to us from a peripheral village hospital. It was found that the arrow was penetrating through the nasal bones. An xray skull lateral view showed the tip of the arrow penetrating into the posterior wall of the sphenoid sinus. As the patient had no clinical evidence of neurological or vascular injury, he was immediately operated upon and the arrow was removed. Patient was discharged in good condition and a 3-month follow-up was normal.

This paper reports a case of accidental entry of an internal jugular vein catheter into the cervical spinal canal. A male patient in his fifties sustained injuries in a road traffic accident. During the placement of a catheter into the right internal jugular vein, the catheter inadvertently entered the cervical spinal canal, though no damage was caused to the spinal cord or nerves. BACKGROUND: Cardiac air bullet injuries are rare but can be associated with significant morbidity and mortality.
CASE PRESENTATION: We are presenting a young male child who sustained an accidental injury to the chest by an air rifle. Bullet entered the right ventricle from the anterior part of the chest and was identified in the RV side of the interventricular septum by echocardiography and chest CT scan. There was mild pericardial effusion but no valvular injury. The bullet was removed in the cath lab, and the patient was discharged home on the second day.
