Renal infarction is a rare cause of acute kidney injury which could lead to permanent loss of renal function. A prompt diagnosis is necessary in order to achieve a successful revascularization of the occluded artery. We report a case of a newborn with a cystic lymphangioma of the small-bowel mesentery discovered antenatally at ultrasound and confirmed postnatally at computed tomography scan. The lesion together with the caecum and the last centimeters of ileum were resected by using only one trocar positioned lateroumbilically. We documented the frequency of nephritic colic in patients with primary hyperparathyroidism, and determined its modification after the parathyroidectomy; we also studied laboratory parameters such as calcium, phosphorus and parathyroid hormone in serum, and the excretion of Cao 24h, previous and later to the intervention. At sight of the results it is possible to be concluded that the parathyroidectomy is useful in the treatment of the kidney stone disease produced by the primary hyperparathyroidism.

This was conducted to evaluate the analgesic effect of intravenous tenoxicam (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) in the treatment of biliary colic pain and compared with spasmolytics. Thirtytwo patients (26 women, 6 men, mean age 47, range 38-55 years) with acute biliary colic were entered for study.
