This study investigates the pedigree of 508 individuals over five generations identified by an individual with hypertriglyceridemia, familial hypercholesterolemia, and a IIb lipoprotein electrophoretic phenotype. This paper reports simultaneous occurrence of cryptorchidism and testicular tumor in three brothers within a single family. Two of the brothers had seminoma and the third brother had embryonal carcinoma. Research on the neural correlates of developmental dyslexia indicates atypical anatomical lateralization of the planum temporale, a higher-order cortical auditory region. BACKGROUND: The family Trypanosomatidae encompasses parasitic flagellates, some of which cause serious vector-transmitted diseases of humans and domestic animals. However, insect-restricted parasites represent the ancestral and most diverse group within the family. The urinary excretion of uronic acid and the electrophoretic composition of urinary glucosaminoglycans were studied in 10 members of a family, of which 3 had progressive familial myoclonus epilepsy. The death of a loved one is an event with the highest imbalance for all individuals. Although it is typically a painful but normal process, in specific vulnerable subjects, it may evolve into maladaptive trajectories, culminating in extreme behaviors that became the objective of interdisciplinary studies. This paper analyzed five cases focused on the continuation of cohabitation between survivors and corpse. This unconventional behavior draws its origins from the co-presence of three pathological elements: psychiatric disorders, fragile personality structures, and dysfunctional family systems.
