The goal of the existing investigation was to design a Dasatinib (DAS) Cube-O-Needle (Cubosome-MNs hybrid system) for triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) to improve potency and reduce side effects. In Cube-O-Needle, the Cubosome was formulated at an optimal ratio of Glyceryl monooleate (GMO), Poloxamer 407 (PLX), Soya lecithin (SL), Soluplus, and Tween 80. Neuroinflammation is a key feature of Parkinson's disease (PD). The cannabinoid receptor type 2 (CB2R) is expressed by cells of the innate and adaptive immune systems. Inhibition of monoacylglycerol lipase (MAGL) with JZL184 increases the levels of the endocannabinoid 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG), which is neuroprotective for dopaminergic neurons. The aim of this study was to determine whether the neuroprotective effect of MAGL inhibition is mediated by CB2R activation on specific immune cell populations. BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: The endocannabinoids anandamide and 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG) bind to CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors in the brain and modulate the mesolimbic dopaminergic pathway. This neurocircuitry is engaged by psychostimulant drugs, including cocaine. Although CB1 receptor antagonism and CB2 receptor activation are known to inhibit certain effects of cocaine, they have been investigated separately. Here, we tested the hypothesis that there is a reciprocal interaction between CB1 receptor blockade and CB2 receptor activation in modulating behavioural responses to cocaine.

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) tightly controls emotional responses to acute aversive stimuli. Repeated stress alters ECS activity but the role played by the ECS in the emotional consequences of repeated stress has not been investigated in detail. This study used social defeat stress, together with pharmacology and genetics to examine the role of cannabinoid type-1 (CB(1)) receptors on repeated stress-induced emotional alterations. Seven daily social defeat sessions increased water (but not food) intake, sucrose preference, anxiety, cued fear expression, and adrenal weight in C57BL/6N mice.

We have recently observed that monoglycerides (MGs), a family of lipids consisting of a single fatty acid moiety attached to a glycerol backbone, induce rapid dose-dependent apoptosis in murine thymocytes.
