A 62-year-old man had been treated for urethral stricture developed after his right kidney was harvested for donation to his sister 34 years ago. Transurethral biopsy was performed because of positive urinary cytology and squamous cell carcinoma was detected from the site of urethral stricture. We present the case of metastasis of renal cell carcinoma to the urethra in a 77-year-old woman who underwent -nephrectomy 6 years ago due to renal cell carcinoma. After 3 years, she returned to the ward due to a small, palpable nodule in the area of the urethra that turned out to be a cancer of the clear cell carcinoma. Despite the resection of the -lesion with negative margins in the pathology examination, a local regrowth in the same area was diagnosed in the MRI 8 months after the first episode of metastasis and was successfully removed. The patient keeps urine properly.

OBJECTIVE: To report the first laparoscopic periprostatic implantation of an artificial urinary sphincter (AUS) after a transurethral resection of the prostate.

INTRODUCTION: We present a case of a differentiated adenocarcinoma of the female urethra, which caused dysuria and voiding dysfunction.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: A 54-year-old female presented with dysuria and the sensation of incomplete voiding.
RESULTS: An ultrasound-guided biopsy showed a urethral carcinoma. A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan showed a high-stage tumor. The patient had a pelvic exenteration. The patient was free of disease after 2 years of follow up.

Fibroepithelial polyps are benign epithelial tumours which are rare in adults. In females they usually arise from the distal part of the urethra and protrude through the external meatus. We report a case of a twenty-seven-year-old woman, presenting with painless terminal gross haematuria, affected by a neoplasm located in the proximal urethra near the bladder neck. Transurethral resection was performed. Endoscopic image of the tumour and histopatological details are shown.

PURPOSE: This study was designed to assess the efficacy of gracilis muscle transposition in repairing rectovaginal and rectourethral fistulas.
