A clinicopathological and immunohistochemical study of 12 cases of osteofibrous dysplasia (OFD), two cases of differentiated adamantinoma, and five cases of adamantinoma of long bones is presented. The abundance of gap junctions between rat pineal astrocytes formed by connexin43 (Cx43) was studied during development. In order to clarify the histogenesis of alveolar soft part sarcoma (ASPS), an immunohistochemical and biochemical study was performed on three cases.
