INTRODUCTION: Laparoscopic Hartmann reversal (LHR) has decreased postoperative recovery time and a lower wound infection rate compared to open HR. However its technical difficulty and high conversion rates make it a challenging procedure. We aim to demonstrate the technique of LHR via a video presentation. Colorectal lipomas are the second most common benign tumors of the colon. These masses are typically incidental findings with over 94% being asymptomatic. INTRODUCTION: Infectious complications and especially anastomotic leakage (AL) severely impede the recuperation of patients following colorectal cancer (CRC) surgery.
