A 37-year-old woman seen for t … mucinous adenocarcinoma which had derived from this teratoma. A tumor that arises from pluripotent germ cells, teratoma rarely shows malignant transformation. The patient presented is a rare example of a cutaneous metastasis originating from a congenital sacrococcygeal teratoma in an adult.

The authors report the case of a 33 year-old male with urinary disturbances referred for removal of a spinal intradural mass associated with a L4 spina bifida occulta. At operation three types of lesions were present: a tethered cord, an intradural lipoma of the cauda equina and conus medullaris and an intramedullary mature teratoma. A total removal of teratoma and lipoma and a section of the filum terminale achieved a normalization of urological function. The motivation of our study was to examine the acute effects of intravenously administered a single bolus dose of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) on rat spermatogenesis and seminiferous tubules morphology.
