PURPOSE: To compare various optic nerve head (ONH) parameters and peripapillary retinal nerve fibre layer (pRNFL) thickness between megalopapilla cases and normal control using spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) in children.
METHODS: Fifty eyes with megalopapilla and 80 normal control eyes of totally 130 children between the ages of 6 and 15 were examined using SD-OCT. Comparison between treatment with wavefront optimized and custom-Q laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) ablations. Our study included 400 eyes of 200 patients divided into two equal groups. All patients were treated for myopia and myopic astigmatism with LASIK. The first group was treated with wavefront optimized ablation and the second group with custom-Q ablation. PARTICIPANTS: A total of 21 eyes of 16 patients with prior PKP and moderate to high regular astigmatism after full suture removal underwent phacoemulsification and implantation of a single-piece acrylic toric IOL (SN6AT series; Alcon, Fort Worth, TX).

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to report on the treatment of high astigmatism after Descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty with IntraLase (IntraLase, Inc., Irvine, CA) -enabled astigmatic keratotomy (IEAK).
METHODS: A 85-year-old patient with pseudophakic bullous keratopathy underwent an intraocular lens exchange and Descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty surgery on his left eye. Four months after surgery, high astigmatism was treated with IEAK.
