This study aims to investigate teachers' attitudes toward the inclusion of students with special educational needs (SEN) in general school settings in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The purpose of this study was to review the current status of research in this field and to describe the endoscopic technique for resection of the submandibular gland: a 15-mm incision is sufficient for the endoscopic material and gland resection without insufflation. The wound is minimal and the dissection is not traumatic. This innovating technique enables a magnified view of the structures providing an excellent teaching method.

For women with HIV infection, physical and psychosocial adaptation during the postpartum period is fraught with ambivalence. On the one hand, there is the joy of parenthood, but on the other, the burden of a chronic, terminal illness and the possibility of having an infected newborn. The nursing care of the HIV-positive woman and her newborn is discussed. Guidelines for hospital discharge teaching are included.

A role-reversal technique was employed to teach cognitive coping skills to a patient with a writing phobia. The patient presented desensitization scenes to the therapist and devised coping strategies for lessening anxiety. Treatment resulted in a reduction of anxiety and an increased ability to write in the presence of other people. A 10-mo. follow-up showed no relapse.
