A 79-year-old male, who had undergone rectectomy due to colorectal cancer about 10 years previously, was diagnosed as Merkel cell carcinoma of the left ear lobe with lymph node metastases. PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of oral isotretinoin, a drug used in the treatment of acne vulgaris, on hearing function determined by serial audiology examinations.
