Solitary fibrous tumors are typically benign and usually develop in the pleura. We herein report the first case of a solitary fibrous tumor that was pathologically malignant and developed in the left atrial endocardium. This article reports the case of a 42-year-old male patient, who sustained a gluteal compartment syndrome after drug-induced immobilization with subsequent rhabdomyolysis and sciatic nerve palsy. Unlike compartment syndrome of the forearm or lower leg, this is a rare condition. After immediate surgical decompression and installation of negative pressure wound treatment, hemofiltration in acute renal failure could be averted using forced diuresis. Animal injection-related needlestick injuries are a common occupational hazard for livestock workers and veterinarians. Congenital pseudoarthrosis of the radius is exceedingly rare. We report an isolated pseudoarthrosis of the radius in a five-year-old girl child with Neurofibromatosis type-I (NF-I). She underwent excision of the pseudoarthrosis tissue, ulna osteotomy, iliac crest cortico-cancellous bone grafting, and K wire fixation of both bones. A sound union of the radius and the ulna was achieved after 4 months. At two-year follow-up, mild shortening of the forearm persisted with maintenance of sound union of both bones. We describe a series of 8 patients who had total reconstruction of the nose during 4 separate missions to Ethiopia. Injuries to the ulnar nerve result in both sensory and motor deficits within the hand. Functional outcomes following repair of this nerve have not performed as well as outcomes following repair of the median or radial nerves.
