A multi-class method for identification and quantification of 36 antibiotics from seven different chemical classes (aminoglycosides, macrolides, lincosamides, sulfonamides, tetracyclines, quinolones and trimethoprim) has been developed by using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.
