This paper aims to discuss the clinical significance of laparotomy nerve sparing radical hysterectomy (NSRH) on rectal function of early cervical cancer patients, compared with conventional radical hysterectomy. 30 cases of early cervical carcinoma patients who had received surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from June 2010 to June 2014 were selected as subjects. INTRODUCTION: The Management of Myelomeningocele Study (MOMS) showed that prenatal repair of myelomeningocele (MMC) resulted in better neurological outcomes than postnatal closure but was, by necessity, associated with higher rates of obstetrical complications. Fetoscopic MMC repair has been explored as an alternative to reduce complications of the open approach used in MOMS. This review summarizes the trends in fetoscopic and open fetal repair of MMC.
