OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to compare the outcomes of minimally invasive aortic valve replacement (MICS-AVR) versus transfemoral transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TF-TAVR) in Asian patients.
METHODS: We conducted a retrospective, observational, single-center study in Japan, including cases of MICS-AVR (n = 202) and TF-TAVR (n = 248) between 2014 and 2021. PURPOSE: To determine the longitudinal changes in the morphologic features of dome-shaped macula in highly myopic eyes.
METHODS: Patients with a dome-shaped macula and high myopia (spherical equivalent <-8 diopters [D] or axial length ≥26.5 mm) were retrospectively studied. The medical records, optical coherence tomographic images, and ultra-widefield optical coherence tomography images were analyzed.

Endotension remains an enigmatic rare cause of endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair failure leading to aneurysm growth and/or rupture. We present a patient with a long-standing endotension treated with open reconstruction and graft explantation.
