We investigated the pharmacokinetics of recombinant human insulin-like growth factor I (rhIGF-I) in growth hormone deficiency (GHD). Nine GHD adults [age 25 +/- 3 (SE) yr] received rhIGF-I (60 microgram/kg sc) twice, 10 h apart, and blood was sampled over 24 h. In this paper, we investigate the effects of solvation on the solar energy storage properties of bicyclooctadiene/tetracyclooctane (BOD/TCO) photoswitches. The solvent effects on the thermochemical and optical properties are studied in cyclohexane, toluene, dichloromethane, ethanol, acetonitrile, and a vacuum using density functional theory and coupled cluster theory. A set of titanium oxide clusters (TOCs) comprised of 4 to 16 Ti atoms are synthesized with substituted salicylates (SSAs). Absorption, fluorescence spectra of chlorophyll a (Chl-a) and all-trans-β-carotene (β-Car) mixing solution are investigated in different polarity and polarizability solvents.
