Recurrent intussusception is a management dilemma and have many causes. We report a 22-month old boy who presented multiple times for recurrent intussusception. At diagnostic work-up he was found to be suffering from non-IgE food allergy. The child did not develop further episodes of intussusception after removal of allergenic diet.

In children, ACD to nickel classically occurs on the earlobes, neck, wrists, and infraumbilical area. We describe a newly recognized presentation for this common childhood ACD--on the posterior thighs--which we have termed the school chair sign.

A patient with an eruption of clinical and histologic features typical of plasma cell orificial mucositis of the glans penis is reported. Immunohistologically, IgE and IgG are found to be major immunoglobulin classes in the plasma cellular infiltrate. Although specific allergen has not been identified yet, the present findings suggest that this condition is not a nonspecific inflammatory response but is related to immediate hypersensitivity.

Aortic aneurysmal disease appears to be the central focus of the inflammatory process resulting in inflammatory aneurysm formation. Some authors believe that inflammatory aortic aneurysm disease is a distinct clinicopathologic entity; however, others have included it with retroperitoneal fibrosis. The histologic features of inflammatory aneurysm suggest an immunologic basis for the lesion, with the atherosclerotic aorta as a possible source of the allergen.
