A case of heterotopic pancreas located in the small intestine is herewith presented. The 19-years male patient had been admitted three times since 1991 for an anemic syndrome secondary to melena. The origin of the hemorrhage was not determined with the studies performed (intestinal transit, opaque enema, esophagogastroscopy, colonoscopy and gammagraphy with technetium 99). A 9-year-old girl presented with severe intermittent upper abdominal pain and bilious vomiting for 1 day. Abdominal echography demonstrated severe distension of the gallbladder with marked change in its long axis. Torsion of the gallbladder was suspected preoperatively. A case of adenocarcinoma of the splenic flexure during pregnancy is reported. A 27-year-old woman was admitted at 34 weeks of pregnancy with abdominal pain and vomiting. 36 hours after normal delivery an emergency exploratory laparotomy was performed for intestinal obstruction. We present a patient with acute and severe abdominal pain, fever and mild tenderness elicited on deep palpation in the right lower quadrant. X-ray films of the chest and abdomen were normal. The article reports on the results of the removal of small benign ovarian tumors (teratoma, cystic adenoma) without oophorectomy. 10 patients were treated by laparotomy and 23 patients with operative laparoscopy.
