In this study, roasting pretreatment was integrated with ultrasound-assisted extraction to enhance nutritional and sensory properties of insect oils. The contact toxicity of thymol, alpha-terpinene, and beta-pinene against Leptinotarsa decemlineata (Say) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) was evaluated by topical application. We report a case of semispecific myiasis in a cutaneous skull metastasis of cervical cancer. A 43-year-old woman developed larval infestation in an ulcerated occipital lesion.
