BACKGROUND: Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a noninvasive procedure for analysis of retinal morphology. Significant changes in the thickness of the peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) in Parkinson's disease (PD) have been reported, and the current study was performed to examine whether such changes can also be detected in an animal model of PD.

PATIENTS AND METHODS: Cross-sectional, retrospective analysis of 14 patients (14 eyes) with RP and 33 healthy subjects (33 eyes) who underwent high-definition one-line raster scanning at a single center. BACKGROUND: Urachal cysts, part of the spectrum of congenital urachal anomalies, are typically extrinsic to the urinary bladder.
OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study is to present the salient imaging features of a pediatric series of unusual intravesical urachal cysts that protrude into the bladder lumen.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: Five children with intravesical urachal cysts depicted on imaging studies were retrospectively identified during a 6-year period at a children's hospital. The clinical charts and findings on ultrasound (US) and voiding cystourethrogram (VCUG) were reviewed.

There is no definition for fascicular constrictions of the spontaneous anterior interosseous nerve palsy (sAINP) and spontaneous posterior interosseous nerve palsy (sPINP). We reviewed the findings of a video fluoroscopic swallowing study (VFSS) of 28 patients with vocal cord paralysis (VCP) who complained of swallowing difficulties. VFSSs were performed with thick and thin liquid using modified Logemann methods. OBJECTIVE: To confirm that MRI findings like hypoplastic anterior pituitary, thin or interrupted pituitary stalk, and ectopic posterior pituitary (EPP) in patients with growth hormone deficiency are a good indicator of the severity of hypopituitarism.

We report a new method for shoulder sonography (US): the patient lies supine and his/her arm is positioned so as to optimize tendon depiction. The supraspinatus tendon, which is the most frequently involved structure in rotator cuff tears, is studied with the patient's arm dropped, elbow extended and forearm prone.
