Lumbar Schmorl nodes usually remain asymptomatic. Painful nodes either heal spontaneously or respond to conservative therapy in most instances. Diagnosis and treatment may be difficult in patients presenting with chronic back pain. We present a 31-year-old man with a lumbar Schmorl node that was unrecognised for 10 years as the origin of his severe chronic back pain. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical and radiographic success of Sealapex pulpectomies in primary teeth.
STUDY DESIGN: Root canals of 62 primary teeth were filled with Sealapex. The tooth was restored with a stainless steel crown, amalgam, compomer, or glass ionomer cement. Clinical and radiographic evaluations of pulpectomized teeth were performed for up to 36 months afterward.

The purpose of this prospective study was to determine the clinical outcomes of patients who had total hip arthroplasties with a zirconia (Zr) - Hylamer pairing. Fifty-eight consecutive cemented total hip arthroplasties with a Hylamer cup and 22.25 mm Zr head were examined for component wear and failure. The SF-36 and Mayo hip score were used to evaluate patient outcome. Regression and Kaplan Meier survival analyses were used to determine outcome. The mean Mayo postoperative score was 94 points. Between 1990 and 2005, 25 acetabular reconstructions in 25 patients were performed using autogenous morcellized bone-graft and acetabular wiremesh due to acetabular bone stock loss. The purpose of this study was to examine the failure mechanisms and factors associated with failure of a nonmodular metal backed cemented tibial component. Out of 3152 total knee replacements done for osteoarthritis, 41 tibial components had been revised (1.3%). OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effectiveness of Zweymuller prothesis in replacing osteoarthritis secondary to congenital dysplasia of the hip.
METHODS: From January 1996 to June 2000, Zweymuller prothesis was used to reconstruct 32 hips in 29 patients with congenital acetabular dysplasia(3 bilateral cases). All patients were female. According to the classification of Perner, 19 hips belonged to type I, 7 type II, 5 type III, and 1 type IV. The mean follow-up period was 27.5 months (6-53 months). The preoperative Harris hip score ranged from 25 to 59(average 44.5).

Aside from vertebral compression fractures, the most common site of insufficiency fractures is the pelvis and lower extremities.
