A 35-year-old man was referred to our hospital because of left supraclavicular and cervical lymphadenopathies. Histopathological examination of the lymph nodes revealed reactive lymphadenopathy. Resection of a primary sarcoma of the diaphysis of a long bone creates a large defect. Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a major cause of oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma with characteristic clinical and pathologic features relative to their non-HPV-associated counterparts. Chronic graft-versus-host disease is the major long-term complication after allogeneic stem cell transplantation with a suboptimal response rate to current treatments. This study was aimed at evaluating the potential application of benzophenanthridine alkaloids, sanguinarine and cheleritrine, in the therapy of melanoma cancer.
