OBJECTIVE: The aim of the study was to describe (1) the amount of physical activity (PA) in cardiac rehabilitation (CR) graduates by sex, and (2) the correlates of their PA.
DESIGN: Secondary analysis of baseline data from a randomized trial was undertaken. Graduates were recruited from three CR programs. Participants completed a questionnaire, which assessed constructs from the socio-ecological model (i.e., individual-level, social- and physical-environmental levels). BACKGROUND: Acellular dermal matrix (ADM) has been described as an adjunct in primary cleft palate repair to reduce the fistula rate in several retrospective studies (level III or lower); however, current data are insufficient to definitively conclude its efficacy for this purpose. The goal of the present study was to provide prospective, higher level of evidence data investigating the effect of ADM on fistula rate following primary palatoplasty.
