Ultrasonography was performed on 1805 patients with breast diseases during the past 3 years and 20 (1.1%) intracystic tumors were detected. Among 20 intracystic tumors, 14 were finally diagnosed as benign and 6 as malignant. We reviewed various imaging approaches in 22 patients with gallbladder cancer. Nineteen had had ultrasonography and nine computed tomography performed. A gallbladder mass or diffuse wall thickening was seen by ultrasonography in 42% and computed tomography in 33% of patients. Pelvic pain in the first trimester is nonspecific, with causes including pregnancy complications, pregnancy loss, and abnormal implantation, and symptom severity ranges from mild to catastrophic. Ultrasonography is the imaging modality of choice and essential to evaluate for the location of pregnancy, either intrauterine or not. If there is an intrauterine pregnancy, ultrasonography helps assess viability. If there is not an intrauterine pregnancy, ultrasonography helps assess for abnormal implantation, which accounts for a high percentage of maternal morbidity and mortality.
