Two patients presented with dyspnea and signs of chronic pancreatitis. Patient B had pleural effusion on chest X-ray. Patient A developed pleural effusion during the course of disease. On further analysis these pleural effusions showed elevated amylase concentrations. BACKGROUND: This study examined the outcome of surgery for symptomatic Crohn's rectovaginal fistula (RVF) and assessed the effect of therapy with antibody against tumour necrosis factor (TNF) on healing.
METHODS: Fifty-six patients with Crohn's disease underwent surgery for a RVF between January 1993 and December 2006. Outcome analysis was performed in February 2008 in relation to the surgical procedures used and the effect of anti-TNF treatment.

Coronary artery fistulas are rare congenital or acquired coronary artery anomalies that can originate from any of the three major coronary arteries and drain in all the cardiac chambers and great vessels. Multidetector computed tomography has provided cross-sectional anatomy of the heart with excellent spatial and temporal resolution, which shows the anatomical and functional changes in cardiac disorders. Here, the first case of noniatrogenic coronary artery to pulmonary vein fistula depicted by multidetector computed tomography has been presented.

Congenital tracheobiliary and bronchobiliary fistulae are rare malformations in which patent communications exist between the respiratory system and biliary tract, respectively. We present a newborn who was admitted with respiratory distress and bilious tracheal discharge. Investigation revealed a bronchobiliary fistula originating from the left main bronchus, as well as biliary atresia.
