It is a rare disorder with chromosomal aberrations, which are associated with congenital limb malformations. The condition was observed during routine physical examination of a flock of 2000 poultry birds in the month of February 2008 in Ibadan, Nigeria. A 33-year-old man reported an 18 months history of a progressive right eyelid swelling, a sensation of eye pain and headaches. He noted a visual discomfort. We present 2 cases that came to our institute for refractive surgery and were discovered to have serious systemic conditions requiring immediate intervention. On examination, prolactinoma of the pituitary gland was seen in one patient and multiple sclerosis was diagnosed in the other patient. Prompt treatment of the conditions led to improvement in the neuro-ophthalmic disorders. We recommend a thorough physical evaluation of patients having an ophthalmic examination.

Chest computed tomography (CT) of a 22-year-old man with a history of long-term low fever and nonproductive cough demonstrated lymphadenopathy in the superior, middle, and posterior mediastinum. Slight bilateral gynecomastia was also observed on the CT scan. Subsequent physical examination and ultrasonography revealed a left testicular mass, and abdominal CT showed retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy.
