BACKGROUND/AIMS: Postoperative morbidity after a pancreaticoduodenectomy remains high mainly due to pancreatic fistula, but effective methods to prevent the development of pancreatic fistula have yet to be established. BACKGROUND: There is paucity of high-quality data on the effect of cannabis consumption on perioperative outcomes after hepatobiliary and pancreatic (HPB) surgery.
