A 70-year-old man was referred to our department for further examination and treatment of a painless penile mass of about 2cm. The patient first noticed the mass onlya few weeks before presentation. BACKGROUND: Hepatic portal venous gas (HPVG) is a rare entity commonly associated with intestinal necrosis and fatal outcome, and various underlying diseases have been reported. Pancreatic solitary metastasis without local extension is also rare in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.

We reviewed the clinical records of 6 cases with anal squamous cell carcinoma to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of chemoradiotherapy (CRT). We present a case of squamous cell carcinoma of the scalp, treated with local excision and flap reconstruction. We discuss the treatment modalities of this pathology with particular attention to the role of surgery and adjuvant radiotherapy. The authors suggest the systematic use of subgaleal drainage to avoid the hematoma and/or seroma occurrence.

Metastasis from primary lung cancer is a rare cause of a vulval tumour and may require special immunohistochemical stains to determine whether the vulval tumour is primary or secondary. Awareness of the possibility of metastatic disease involving the vulva is of importance as the patient's prognosis is dependent on an accurate diagnosis and palliative treatment where appropriate.

Therapy-related myelodysplastic syndrome (t-MDS) and therapy-related leukemia (TRL) are reported increasingly often, and we report two cases of T-MDS after concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) with oral cancer.
