Measuring restorative care provided by nursing assistants: reliability and validity of the Restorative Care Behavior Checklist.

BACKGROUND: Most prior research on the outcomes of restorative care programs has been focused on resident outcomes including such things as functional performance, behavior, and quality of life. Treatment fidelity issues and compliance with the programs were not addressed in these studies. Without such an evaluation, it is impossible to evaluate the effectiveness of restorative care activities. PURPOSE: To test the reliability and validity of the Restorative Care Behavior Checklist (RCBC), which is an observed measure of restorative care activities performed by nursing assistants (NAs). Streaming Media as a Clinical Resource for Nursing Practice: Therapeutic Elements from Analysis of Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters.

Psychosocial support is becoming increasingly important for both patients and caregivers during their illness recovery journey. While various self-care strategies can be recommended by healthcare professionals (HCPs) like nurses, such as exercise and relaxation techniques, systematic guidance for evaluating the therapeutic potential of streaming media (SM) is still lacking. Patients engage with entertainment media on streaming platforms daily. Among these, Korean Wave (K-wave) content, including Korean pop (K-pop) and drama (K-drama), has gained global reach in recent years. Music therapy and

Patient Outcomes Associated With Continuous Remote Patient Monitoring: A Scoping Review.

BACKGROUND: The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the need for alternative healthcare delivery models, leading to the development of Continuous Remote Patient Monitoring (CRPM). CRPM allows for real-time monitoring of high-risk patients, reducing the burden on hospital resources. The integration of virtual nursing into CRPM has enhanced remote care capabilities, though it has also introduced new challenges related to patient safety and staffing, that is, nurse-to-patient ratios. OBJECTIVE: This scoping review aims to explore the current evidence on virtual nursing using CRPM and identify challeng
