UNLABELLED: Polygyny, the practice of taking more than one wife at the same time is a common practice in several countries including Africa. This study, conducted in Ghana, West Africa, investigated married women's experiences in polygyny and their ways of coping.
METHODS: Using exploratory qualitative methodology, data were collected from 15 married women who consented to in-depth interviews. The study was conducted in the summer of 2005 with approval from an institutional review board and permission from community leaders from the study site.

This exploratory/descriptive study describes the memories of former ICU (Intensive Care Unit) patients after discharge. Six patients described their memories of ICU and discharge to the ward and home. Memories for the former ICU patients varied, and there were multiple layers of awareness, with periods of unreal experiences and nightmares. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to assess the quality and reliability of YouTube videos on obstetric perineal tears.
METHOD: We chose six keywords: "tearing birth", "perineal trauma", "perineal laceration", "perineal tear", "obstetrical anal sphincter injuries (OASIS)" and "vaginal tear". Each video that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed by two independent raters. Quantitative and qualitative metrics were recorded and scored using the DISCERN instrument.
