BACKGROUND: To introduce a case of Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada (VKH) disease in which the serous retinal detachment (SRD), refractory to the systemic steroid therapy, was resolved in a short time after an intravitreal injection of bevacizumab.
METHODS: Interventional case report to show the effect of bevacizumab for the SRD in a VKH patient.

AIM: The aim of this article was to determine sentinel lymph node (SLN) identification rate (IR) using Patent Blue V in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and to evaluate the accuracy of SLN for the presence of mediastinal metastasis.

Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection facilitates the development of other infections and lesions including oral papilloma, which has been associated with human papillomavirus (HPV). The distribution and density of callosal projection neurons in the somatosensory cortex of mature rats was altered by prenatal exposure to ethanol. The density of callosal neurons was significantly greater in ethanol-treated rats than in controls. Ethanol exposure also altered the laminar distribution of callosal projection neurons.
