INTRODUCTION: Sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT-2i) increase urinary glucose excretion through a reduced renal glucose reabsorption. We plan to perform a systematic review of SGLT-2i for treatment of type 2 diabetes.

The amygdala formation is implicated in generation of emotional states such as anxiety and fear. Many substances that modulate neuronal activity in the amygdala alter anxiety. Cholecystokinin (CCK) is an endogenous neuropeptide that induces anxiety states in behavioral studies in both animals and humans. A strain of Aspergillus giganteus cultivated in a medium with xylan produced two xylanases (xylanase I and II) which were purified to homogeneity. Their molar mass, estimated by SDS-PAGE, were 21 and 24 kDa, respectively.
