Plasma viral load predicts genital tract human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) shedding in HIV-infected women. We describe a case with rectal bleeding from a rectal ulcer after endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), successfully treated with an ecabet sodium (ES) enema.
