Tourette syndrome presents with diverse motor and vocal tics, yet involvement of Eustachian tube dynamics has not been previously described. We report the case of a 31-year-old woman who developed an unusual symptom she described as an "ear-popping tic," characterized by a strong premonitory urge to release air from the ears and clicking sounds. Hearing loss represents a common adverse effect following platinum-based chemotherapy regimens. BACKGROUND: Spontaneous pneumocephalus is a rare, but potentially serious condition often secondary to a CSF leak. This egress of CSF causes an inward movement of air to replace the lost volume. CSF leaks are typically posttraumatic and present as rhinorrhea or otorrhea. Locating the bony defect and herniating contents through imaging is crucial for planned surgical intervention.
